Tools shouldn't sit idle.

Most tools get used a handful of times and then hang on a wall for years. ToolShed lets neighbors rent those tools out, so owners earn back what they spent and renters skip buying a saw or a pressure washer for one weekend project.

What we believe

Three things guide every decision we make about the product.

Trust is earned

Identity verification, renter tiers, and damage protection up to $500 that scales with a renter's trust tier (new renters are backed by their deposit). You always know who you're dealing with.

How protection works

Fair, transparent pricing

Every fee is a line item you see before you check out. No subscriptions, no listing fees, no surprises at the end.

Community first

Tools connect neighbors, and the people using ToolShed decide what we build next. The community roadmap runs on your votes.

Who we are

ToolShed is built by Envalt LLC: two friends on opposite sides of the country who kept borrowing each other's tools and figured everyone else should be able to do the same with their neighbors.

We're a small team shipping steadily. ToolShed is live across the US on iOS, Android, and the web.

Rent what you need from your neighbors

One account everywhere: the app on your phone, the web when you need it.
