Damage Protection
If a tool is damaged during a rental, owners get reimbursed up to their replacement value, capped at $500 per rental and backed by the renter's deposit. A limited guarantee, not insurance.
Deposit Holds
Deposits are sized by the tool's replacement value and the renter's trust tier, not set by hand: 100% for new renters, 50% for verified renters, and none for trusted ones. Released on a clean return.

Rent, list, message, and pay from any browser at app.toolshed.cc. No download needed to get going, and your account carries over to mobile.
User Onboarding
