Verification Badges

ToolShed uses a trust system to build confidence between renters and lenders:

  • Email Verified: Basic account security
  • Phone Verified: Adds another layer of identity confidence
  • ID Verified: Government ID check via Stripe Identity

Staying Safe

- Never share personal contact information before a booking is confirmed - Use ToolShed's in-app messaging for all communications - Meet in public places for tool handoffs when possible - Report suspicious behavior using the in-app report feature
