Opening a Dispute

If there's an issue with a rental — damage, late return, or misrepresentation — open a dispute within 48 hours of the rental end date through the app.

Resolution Timeline

  1. Both parties submit their account within 48 hours
  2. ToolShed reviews evidence (photos, messages) within 3-5 business days
  3. A resolution is issued, which may include partial or full deposit forfeiture

Tips for Success

- Always photograph the tool before and after the rental - Communicate any issues through the in-app message thread - Keep receipts or documentation for any repair costs
