Refund Timeline and Policy

When You Get a Full Refund

- Lender cancels the booking - Lender doesn't respond before the booking expires - Tool significantly misrepresented vs. listing

Cancellation by Renter

Each tool listing has one of three cancellation policies, set by the owner. The exact refund amount is shown to you before you confirm a cancellation.

  • Flexible: 100% refund if cancelled 24+ hours before the rental start; 50% refund otherwise.
  • Moderate: 100% refund if cancelled 5+ days before; 50% refund if 1+ day before; no refund otherwise.
  • Strict: 100% refund if cancelled 14+ days before; 50% refund if 7+ days before; no refund otherwise.

The platform service fee is refunded along with the rental amount.

Processing Time

Refunds appear on your statement within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.
